Commissioner Jones has held a seat on the Livingston County Board of Commissioners since January, 2005. She is currently the Chair of the Livingston County Board of Commissioners. 

As a member of this Board, Commissioner Jones serves as Ex Officio on the following Committees:  General Government, Public Safety/Judiciary, Infrastructure & Development, Health & Human Services, Capitol Improvement, Debt Management, East-West Master Plan and Parks & Open Space Committees.  Commissioner Jones also sits on Finance, Personnel Committees.

Commissioner Jones represents District 1 which includes: All of Brighton City, Brighton Township Precincts 1,2,4,6,7,9
