Commissioner La Belle has held a seat on the Livingston County Board of Commissioners since 1969.  As a member of this Board, Commissioner LaBelle is Chairman of the Finance Committee. In addition, he serves on the General Government, Debt Management, Health & Human Services and East/West Master Plan Committees.

Commissioner La Belle represents District 9, which includes: all of Green Oak Township 1-7 & 9 and Brighton Township Precincts 3, 5, 8.
