Commissioner Mantey was appointed to  the Livingston County Board of Commissioners in February 2008 and was elected to the Board November 4, 2008.

As a member of this Board, Commissioner Mantey is the chairman of the Health and Human Services Committee.  He also serves on the Public Safety / Judiciary, Finance and the Debt Management Committees.

Commissioner Mantey represents District 2 which includes: Genoa Township Precincts 3 & 11, all of Oceola & Deerfield Townships, and Howell Township Precinct 2.
