Commissioner Mantey has held a seat on the Livingston County Board of Commissioners since February 2008 and is currently serving as the Vice-Chairman.

He also serves on the Public Safety / Judiciary, Infrastructure and Development, Finance, Construction, and Debt Management Committees and Parks & Open Space Committee.

Commissioner Mantey represents District 2 which includes: All of Deerfield and Oceola Townships.  Hartland Township Precinct 2.
