Commissioner Parker has held a seat on the Livingston County Board of Commissioners since July 1, 2002.

As a member of this Board, Commissioner Parker serves as chairman of the Debt Management Committee. He also serves on the Infrastructure and Development,   General Government , Finance and Personnel Committees .

Commissioner Parker represents District 5, which includes: Howell City, Precincts 1, 2, 3; Howell Township, Precinct 1; all of Conway and Cohoctah Townships.
