Brighton Art Festival -  Downtown Brighton Over 130 artists from around the country converge on Livingston County's largest Art Festival. All different types of media are represented and the Main Faire Food Court is there to tantalize your taste buds. An event you shouldn't miss!
Howell Melon Festival - The Annual Melon Festival will be held on in historic downtown Howell in late August.  Activities include:  the all new "Kids Zone" featuring free and low cost activities for children ages 3 to 10, the best "Hometown" parade in mid-Michigan, Arts & Crafts, Turtle Races, a Classic Car Show, Family Entertainment at the Courthouse, Bingo, live entertainment under the Melon Tent including chicken dinners on Friday, Rib Fest on Saturday, and Steers & Cheers on Sunday.   For additional information, please call 517-546-7477. http://www.howellmelonfestival.com
