Brighton City

The City of Brighton is situated upon the four corners of Brighton, Genoa, Hamburg and Green Oak Townships in the southeast quadrant of Livingston County. Brighton was incorporated as a village centered around its Mill Pond and its location along the Grand River Trail. Today, the City of Brighton is the second most populated among the two cities in Livingston County with an estimated 7,373 residents in 2007, however, its growth continues to be spurred by the junction of the two interstate expressways, US-23 and I-96.
