Fowlerville Village

The Village of Fowlerville is located within Handy Township in the northwest quadrant of Livingston county.  The Village was platted in 1836 and incorporated into a village in 1871.  Fowlerville's early development was fostered by a group of active civic leaders and by its location on the Grand River Plank Road.  In the 1850's, two stagecoaches per day stopped in the tiny village.  For over 100 years the Fowlerville Agricultural Society has hosted the very popular summertime Fowlerville Fair.  The estimated population  of the Village of Fowlerville for 2007 is 3,190 citizens.
