The Livingston County Department of Planning has initiated and continues to foster a program of community based awareness and education through a variety of promotional and educational tools in the form of printed publications. Through the Department's many publications the Partnership in Planning Initiative has evolved into a comprehensive program that is educating and informing the 20 units of government in Livingston County and state and national audiences. |
| Guidebooks
The Department of Planning continues to
publish a series of practical guides on local government planning and
management. This series of user friendly guidebooks are designed to counsel
local communities on a whole series of practical issues. Guidebooks range in
price from $11.00 to $13.00. |
| Other Publications The Department has developed a variety of tools that provide a community with effective planning and management techniques. Some of our other publications include: Livingston County's High-Quality Natural Areas , Partnership in Planning Manual, Databook and Community Profiles, and County Permit Guidebooks, and The Partnership in Planning Newsletter. |
